Research

Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Marketing division of  Columbia Business School

My research focuses on combining machine learning, statistical/econometric methods and insights from behavioral science to tackle important questions in the domain of digital markets and creator economy. This is a fascinating area where the understanding of the incentives and behaviors of different agents (e.g., viewers, creators, advertisers, platforms and regulators) requires both new types of data and detailed analyses. With a problem-driven approach to research, my work aims to integrate different methodologies with the goal of uncovering important domain insights to better facilitate managerial decision support.

My dissertation was honored at the ISMS Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Competition and ASA Marketing Section Doctoral Dissertation Research Award Competition.

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Meta in Central Applied Science Team on a one-year research collaboration. In the Summer of 2026, I will be joining the Chinese University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor of Marketing.
